Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
moist cake with tasty banana pieces
First, beat the butter in a bowl with a hand mixer until soft. Then beat in the sugar and add the eggs one at a time until a creamy mixture forms. Now stir in the cocoa powder and Nutella, add the rum if you like, and finally sift in the flour and baking powder mixture and gently stir in. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk. Peel the bananas, halve them, and cut each half lengthwise into quarters. Place one-third of the mixture into a prepared, greased baking dish, about 28 cm long. Then place three strips of banana quarters in the dish, spread the next third of batter over them, add two more strips of banana quarters, and finally smooth the remaining batter over the top. Now place the whole thing in the oven preheated to 180°C for at least 40-50 minutes. Prick it every now and then to keep the cake moist and prevent it from baking too darkly. A delicious cake that tastes completely different hot and cold. Personally, I think it tastes even better the next day. Nice and crispy on the outside, nice and juicy on the inside.
