Oat patties with cheese and peppers

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g oat flakes
  • 200 g Gouda, grated or finely chopped
  • 50 g oat bran, fine
  • ½ bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 250 g milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

vegetarian

Finely dice or chop the peppers and onions. Mix all the ingredients for the patties thoroughly. Let them swell a little, if necessary, until all the liquid is absorbed. Heat the oil in a pan. Form the patties and fry. This takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on the size and heat.
