Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g salmon fillet(s), without skin, divided into 4 portions, alternatively 4 frozen salmon fillets
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 8 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce, from the Asian section of the supermarket
- some salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
little effort
Lightly salt the salmon fillets on both sides, then brush them with the sweet chili sauce and let them marinate for a few minutes. In the meantime, finely slice the spring onions. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkle with the sliced onions. Roast in an oven preheated to 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 15-20 minutes on the middle rack. The oven time depends on the thickness of the fillet and your own taste. Some people like their salmon very translucent, others prefer it cooked through. Check and adjust accordingly. Serve with a salad or fresh baguette. This dish is suitable as a small main course. You can also arrange the fish on a few lettuce leaves, with a dollop of lemon sour cream and fresh baguette as a festive starter.
