Olive Butter
The perfect olive butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 80 g Butter, cold
- 5 piece Olives with paprika filling
- 1 pinch Himalayan salt
- 1 tbsp Cress (garden cress), e.g. from m. “Kitchen garden”
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
Olive butter preparation:
- Cut the butter into slices, lay them out side by side and cut the olives into slices and place them on the butter plates and season with salt and pepper. Tear up the cress on top and press on with the broad side of the kitchen knife. .
Cutting technique:
- Divide the butter mixture several times and lay it on top of each other in layers and repeat the whole process according to your own taste, until the layers of pieces look great and the butter piece can still be shaped (e.g. with a knife or a stick).
Use:
- Can be used as herb butter with barbecues or as a spread.
