Olives in spicy tomato sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 can tomatoes, chunky and unseasoned
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves, or more if you like, pressed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Pizza seasoning
  • 2 jars of black olives without stones

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mix the tomatoes with tomato paste, olive oil, and garlic, season with salt, pepper, and pizza seasoning, and stir in the drained olives. The amount of olives depends on how much sauce you want for dipping. Two jars leave plenty of sauce for dipping, so you can also use three jars. Serve with a simple baguette, which you can also use to dip the tomato sauce. It’s perfect as an appetizer for Italian food or just as a snack. It’s also great for a cold buffet.
