Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 150 g flour
- 5 eggs
- 200 g cheese, grated
- 200 g bacon, streaky, diced
- 6 large onions, chopped
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly with a mixer. Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a large casserole dish. Bake the onion tart at 175°C (fan oven) for 70 minutes.
