Onion, Mushroom and Prawn Skewers

The perfect onion, mushroom and prawn skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Onions:

  • 6 Onions approx. 300 g
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Mushrooms:

  • 150 g Mushrooms 12 pieces
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Shrimp:

  • 1 pack Shrimp tails frozen / 225 g / approx. 22 pieces
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Liquid honey

Prepare / serve:

  • 4 Shish kebab skewers
  • 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 2 Stalk Parsley

Onions:

  1. Peel the onions, cut in half crosswise, fry on both sides in a pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp). Sprinkle with sugar (1 teaspoon) and remove from the pan.

Mushrooms:

  1. Clean / brush the mushrooms, fry on both sides in a pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp), season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) and remove from the pan.

Shrimp:

  1. Thaw the shrimp tails, fry them in a pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp) on both sides for about 3 – 4 minutes, drizzle with liquid honey (1 tbsp) and remove from the pan.

Prepare / serve:

  1. Thread all ingredients (onion halves, mushrooms and prawn tails) alternately onto 4 shashlik sticks and heat / bake in the oven at approx. 100 ° C for approx. 5 minutes. Spread over 2 plates, season everything again with coarse sea salt from the mill (4 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (4 big pinches) and serve garnished with parsley.
