Orange cake with yogurt

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 pack of flavoring (orange baking)
  • 3 tbsp orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 300 ml yogurt
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 banana(s) or
  • 3 apples or
  • 150 g chocolate sprinkles or
  • 1 gr. can/n mandarin orange(s) or
  • Jam or
  • Nuts
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Beat the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, orange juice, and orange zest until very fluffy. Beat in the eggs well. Add the yogurt and continue beating well. Add the flour and baking powder and mix well again. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter) and bake for about 60 minutes. Stir in anything else that fits well into the batter at the end: 2 chopped bananas, 3 chopped apples, 150 g chocolate sprinkles (to taste), 1 large can of drained mandarin oranges, leftover jam, nuts, etc. The sky’s the limit. But it’s best to use a springform pan with a diameter of 28 cm!
