Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 package of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
- 1 egg yolk, whisked
- 1 orange(s), untreated
- 100 g cheese (Gruyere), grated
- Coriander powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Snacks with cheese and wine
Spread the puff pastry out on a work surface with the wider side down. Brush with the beaten egg yolk. Sprinkle the top half with the grated orange zest, the cheese, and plenty of coriander. Fold the bottom half over the top. Cut into strips approximately 1-1.5 cm wide, twist the ends together, and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) until golden brown. The sticks taste best lukewarm, but can also be prepared the day before.
