Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 60 g cornstarch
- 3 g baking powder (1 level teaspoon)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 orange(s), untreated, grated peel
- 1 egg(s)
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 100 g dark chocolate
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
First, cut the chocolate into small pieces. Then, combine all the ingredients into a smooth dough. Form it into three rolls, each about 3 cm thick. Flatten them with a large knife so that the strips are about 5 cm wide and a good 1 cm thick. Chill until the dough has hardened. Cut the strips into slices about 0.5 cm thick with a sharp knife and place them on a baking sheet. Baking temperature: Gas Mark 3-4, Electricity 175-200°C. Baking time: about 10 minutes.
