Orange – Chocolate – Kisses

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ jar jam (orange marmalade)
  • 40 g chocolate (dark chocolate)
  • 50 g almond(s), ground
  • 4 egg whites
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 50 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 75 g butter, liquid brown
  • small paper cups (10 ml each)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

makes about 60 not-so-sweet cookies

Finely chop the dark chocolate. Toast the almonds in a pan until golden brown, then let cool. Beat the egg whites with one-third of the sugar until creamy, gradually adding the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form. Stir in the honey. Mix the almonds with the flour, cocoa, and chocolate and fold in. Finally, mix in the brown butter. Using a teaspoon, fill the paper baking cases three-quarters full with the batter and place a dollop of jam in the center of each kiss. Bake the kisses in an oven preheated to 190°C for 12-15 minutes. Let cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
