Orange Fondue with Amarettini

The perfect orange fondue with amarettini recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Organic oranges
  • 1 tsp Food starch
  • 1 tbsp Orange liqueur
  • 20 Amarettini or chocolate macarons, marshmallows, ladyfingers etc,
  • Different types of chopped fruit
  1. Wash the oranges with hot water, rub dry and rub the peel on a fine kitchen grater. Halve the fruit and squeeze out the juice. Mix the orange juice with the cornstarch. Bring the grated zest to the boil in a small saucepan while stirring until the orange juice thickens a little.
  2. Stir the orange liqueur into the juice. Skewer the Amarettini or ladyfingers or chocolate macarons and dip briefly. But you can also serve banana slices, peach or pear pieces and steamed apple cubes with the orange fondue.
  3. Tip 3: If you like, you can also serve quartered figs.
