Orange marzipan gingerbread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 pack of flavoring (orange flavor, e.g. Finesse orange)
  • 70 g marzipan, coarsely grated
  • 10 g chocolate coating, coarsely grated
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • some flour, nB (1-2 tbsp)
  • Wafers (5 cm)
  • some powdered sugar
  • some orange juice or liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

for about 25 gingerbreads

Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl. Coarsely grate the marzipan and chocolate coating and stir in with the remaining ingredients. Spread the batter onto the wafers with a teaspoon. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the gingerbread on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for approximately 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and cover the still-warm gingerbread with the powdered sugar glaze. You can also use chocolate coating, depending on your taste. The gingerbread will be equally soft.
