Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g peanuts
  • 100 g almonds
  • 100 g pine nuts
  • 150 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g cornflakes, 100 g cereals (Whetabix or similar)
  • 100 g nuts (wasabi nuts)
  • 2 tbsp spice mix (garam masala or curry paste)
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix the peanuts, almonds, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, cornflakes, cereal, and wasabi nuts in a bowl. You can also use any other types of nuts or seeds. Then, in a pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the same amount of olive oil and add the spices. First, add the garam masala (or curry paste) and mix well with the fat. Add the ground ginger, cumin, coriander, paprika, curry powder, and ground chili and let it roast briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well, let it roast, and then add the mixture! It’s best to use a pan with a lid or a saucepan. Stir everything quickly or shake well in the lidded pan until everything is well combined!
