Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tsp anise, ground
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 ½ tsp cumin, ground
  • 1 tsp coriander, ground
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Enough for about 5 – 8 loaves, depending on the size and amount of spice used

Add the individual spices spoonful by spoonful into a clean screw-top jar and mix. You can do this either with a spoon or screw on the lid and shake the jar vigorously. Note on usage: For regular flour, we use approximately 0.5–1 level teaspoon. For rye flour, however, we use 1–2 level teaspoons (as a rule of thumb). It’s best to experiment with the amount yourself, depending on your taste.
