Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Clean the chicken breast fillets and then cut into smaller pieces, 4-5 pieces per fillet. Prepare a marinade using yogurt, salt, pepper, paprika, and other spices if desired, and mix the meat pieces into the marinade. First, slightly crush 2-3 handfuls of cornflakes in your hand and place them in a small bowl. You can add more cornflakes later if needed. Now roll the chicken pieces, one at a time, in the cornflakes until they are coated all over, and then place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the nuggets in the oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, carefully turning them halfway through. The nuggets taste great as finger food, and are then served with a homemade dip, for example, made from yogurt, salt, pepper, garlic, tomato paste, and a little olive oil. As a main course, I like to serve the nuggets with vegetable rice with fresh tomatoes and onions. The marinated chicken pieces can also be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours, which allows the spices to absorb even better.
