SABO – Crispy Chicken Strips

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g chicken breasts
  • 2 eggs, of which the egg white
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 150 g salt crackers, finely ground
  • 150 g hazelnuts, coarsely ground
  • Salt
  • garlic powder
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the chicken breast into finger-thick strips. Mix the cornstarch with salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper and coat the chicken strips in it. Beat the egg whites until semi-stiff, stirring in the olive oil. Coat the chicken strips in the mixture. Mix the saltine crackers and hazelnuts and coat the chicken strips in the mixture. Place the chicken strips in the freezer for 30 minutes. Place the chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 200°C for approximately 25-30 minutes.
