Oven-baked spaghetti with asparagus and feta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 500 g asparagus, green
  • 400 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 packs of feta cheese (150 g each)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs, Italian
  • 600 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Simple and quick pasta dish from the oven

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Place the spaghetti in a shallow baking dish. Wash the asparagus, trim off the woody ends, and cut the asparagus into pieces. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Distribute the asparagus pieces and tomato halves over the spaghetti. Place the feta cheese whole on top of the spaghetti. Season everything with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Drizzle with the olive oil. Then add the water. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes. Check occasionally to see if there is still enough water and add more if necessary. When the spaghetti and asparagus are cooked, remove the casserole from the oven, toss well, and serve.
