Oven Vegetables Au Gratin
The perfect oven vegetables au gratin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Potatoes
- 2 piece Paprika
- 2 piece Zucchini
- 3 piece Onion
- 1 piece Garlic
- 200 g Mushrooms
- 200 g Cherry tomatoes
- Sea salt and pepper
- Freshly ground caraway seeds
- Paprika powder (smoked)
- Thyme, marjoram, oregano, rosemary
- 200 g Cheese, good spicy
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Peel the potatoes, core the peppers and also cut out the partitions, halve the zucchini lengthways and scrape out the seeds, clean the mushrooms ….. now cut all the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onion and cut eighth or sixth, depending on the size, peel the garlic and cut in half.
- Heat a suitable roasting pan with plenty of olive oil, sauté the potatoes and peppers in it. Preheat the oven to 180 °. Preheat the circulating air.
- Now add the remaining vegetables, mix everything well and season well with the spices, then put in the oven for about 30 minutes. Mix the whole thing every 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile rub the cheese, I had a fine, well-spicy fenugreek cheese from a small dairy in the Algäu (bought at a fair)
- After the 30 minutes, take out the roasting pan, now switch the oven to the convection / grill function. If necessary, season the vegetable pan again, then distribute the cheese evenly over it and gratin the whole thing again for about 10 minutes.
