Pakistani spinach recipe

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 pts. leaf spinach, frozen
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 cups of natural yogurt
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 3 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onions and fry in oil. Once the onions are lightly toasted, add the finely chopped garlic. Then fry the minced meat. Season with plenty of curry powder, salt, and pepper. Add the yogurt and spinach leaves and simmer briefly – it should have the consistency of a Bolognese sauce. Serve with boiled potatoes or rice. Unfortunately, I don’t know how authentic this recipe is – but what I do know is that it tastes delicious!
