Pancakes with Amaretto

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 g sugar
  • 3 dl milk
  • 60 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp Amaretto
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

American pancakes

Combine flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Mix everything with a fork. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Add the milk, eggs, and Amaretto and mix. Add to the flour mixture. Let it stand for 15 minutes. Brush a hot pan with oil. Using a small ladle, pour the batter into the pan, one at a time. Cook over medium heat. As soon as bubbles form (after about 2 minutes), flip the pancakes. Tip: Serve with maple syrup, fruit, or Nutella.
