Paprika Fried Rice

The perfect paprika fried rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Basmati rice
  • Salt
  • 2 piece Peppers, red
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece Cucumber
  • 1 bunch Spring onions fresh
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 2 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • Pepper
  • Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 500 g Minced pork
  • 1 tsp Curry
  1. Cook the rice in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Clean, wash, quarter and cut the peppers. Peel garlic and chop finely. Peel the cucumber, cut in half lengthways, core and cut into fine cubes. Wash the spring onions and cut into rings. Wash the parsley, pluck the leaves and chop coarsely.

For the salad

  1. Mix the cucumber, spring onions and parsley in a bowl. Mix together vinegar, salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar. Mix in 2 tablespoons of oil. Mix the cucumber salad with the vinaigrette.

For the fried rice

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Fry the minced meat for about 10 minutes until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper and curry. Fry the paprika and garlic briefly. Add the rice and stir-fry everything again vigorously. Season the fried rice with salt and pepper. Serve with the cucumber salad.
