Parmesan potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 potatoes
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 4 slice(s) smoked bacon, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Halve the peeled potatoes lengthwise and cook in salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Mix the Parmesan, nutmeg, and parsley and toss the potatoes in it. Heat the oil on a deep baking tray in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Place the potatoes on the tray and cook for about 30 minutes, turning at least once. Remove the baking tray from the oven and scatter the bacon strips over the potatoes. Return the tray to the oven and let the bacon turn golden brown.
