Parsnip Salad with Herring

The perfect parsnip salad with herring recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 bunch Parsley
  • 400 g Parsnips
  • 200 g Carrots
  • Salt pepper
  • 4 Bismarck herring fillets from the jar
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  1. Wash the parsley, shake dry and chop.
  2. Wash and clean the parsnips and carrots and cut into 1 cm cubes.
  3. Boil in salted water for 8 minutes, allow to cool.
  4. Dice herring fillets and place in a salad bowl with 4 tablespoons of vinegar stock, oil and mustard and stir.
  5. Add the cooled vegetables and parsley, mix everything loosely, season again with salt and pepper.
