  • 1 kg onion(s)
  • ½ bottle of beer
  • 1 bottle of tomato ketchup
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Minced meat dumplings in onion and beer sauce

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Shape into small balls and brown in a large roasting pan until lightly browned. Remove the meatballs and sauté the half-sliced ​​onions in the frying fat until golden brown. Add the meatballs back to the pan and top up with the beer and ketchup. I rinse the ketchup bottle with a little more water and add that, too. Then add enough paprika powder (it should taste nice and spicy). Simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Serve with baguette or bread rolls.
