Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g minced meat, half pork and half beef
- 250 g quark
- 2 eggs
- 2 small onions, diced
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- Salt and pepper, 1 few drops of Tabasco
- 2 tsp spice mix for minced meat
- 35 g tomato paste
- 5 slice(s) bacon, streaky
- butter
- breadcrumbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mix all ingredients, except the bacon, breadcrumbs, and butter, into a meatball dough. Form it into an oblong dumpling on a breadcrumb-dusted work surface. Place it in a greased, ovenproof dish and top with the bacon strips and butter flakes. Bake at 190-210 degrees Celsius (375-425 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 50 to 60 minutes. Tip: I always put a few cubes of butter next to the meatloaf to reserve some fat for the side dishes.
