Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ½ pack of bacon (approx. 50 g)
  • 400 g wheat flour
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 150 g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
  • 100 g shepherd’s cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • n. B. herbs, optional
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Roughly chop the onions, press or mince the garlic, and fry both in a pan until well browned. Remove from the pan and set aside. Finely chop the bacon and fry in the pan. Crumble the feta cheese slightly. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon or your hands. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for 40 minutes on the middle rack.
