Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 4 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Sugar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 5 onions
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 8 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 2 cans of corn kernels
  • 500 g cheese, Gouda
  • 500 g meat – salad, ready-made or homemade
  • 4 cucumber(s) (pickles)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Combine vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Whisk in the oil vigorously. Peel the onions and slice them into fine rings. Wash the bell peppers and dice them into small cubes. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges. Thinly slice the gherkins. Cut the cheese into sticks. Drain the corn well. Combine the prepared salad ingredients, dressing, and meat salad. Cover and let stand for about 1 hour. Season to taste.
