Pasta casserole with peppers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (e.g. Krauselli)
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 1 class can/n tomatoes (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped, peeled
  • 200 g cheese (Edam), grated
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta, drain, and place it in a greased casserole dish. Dice the onions and bell peppers and sauté them in a pan with the mushrooms. Add the pizza tomatoes and tomato pieces, bring to a boil, and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic. Pour the mixture over the pasta. Then top with the cheese and bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until the cheese melts and is lightly browned.
