Pasta in ham and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spirals or spaghetti)
  • salt water
  • 4 tsp, levelled chicken broth, instant (chicken broth)
  • 1 liter of water
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 pack of cream cheese or reduced-fat processed cheese
  • 1 pack of diced ham (approx. 200 g)
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Sauce thickener, light

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. Bring the water to a boil, then stir in the chicken stock. Now add the milk and bring back to a simmer. Slowly add the cream cheese, a tablespoon at a time, and let it melt. Now add the diced ham and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Finally, thicken with the sauce thickener until the desired consistency is reached. Serve with the pasta.
