Spaghetti with basil pesto, sesame and pine nuts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • n. B. Salt
  • 100 ml pasta water
  • 80 g basil pesto
  • 60 g pine nuts
  • 10 g sesame, black
  • 10 g white sesame
  • 40 ml olive oil with chili
  • 40 g Parmesan (Parmigiano Regionale aged 36 months)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente. Mix the basil pesto with the chili oil. Toast the sesame seeds and pine nuts. Grate the Parmigiano Regionale. Drain the spaghetti and add 100 ml of the pasta water to the pesto. Mix the spaghetti with the pesto. Sprinkle the pine nuts and sesame seeds over the spaghetti. Divide into 4 portions, sprinkle with Parmigiano Regionale, arrange on a plate, and serve.
