Pasta salad with pineapple and banana

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 400 g elbow macaroni
  • 1 small can of pineapple
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g mortadella or other meat sausage
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in well-salted water until tender, then rinse with cold water. Chop the pineapple and add it to the pasta along with its juice. Peel and finely chop the onion. Cut the sausage into strips and slice or dice the eggs using an egg slicer. Combine all ingredients (except the bananas and mayonnaise), season with salt and curry powder, and let stand overnight. Stir in the bananas and mayonnaise and let stand for another hour.
