Pasta with apple and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, variety of your choice
  • 200 g tomato paste
  • 300 g applesauce
  • 250 ml water
  • basil
  • oregano
  • Chili, fresh or powder
  • Garlic, fresh or powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente. Combine the tomato paste, water, and applesauce in a saucepan, stir, and bring to a boil briefly. Season with herbs and spices. Serve with the pasta.
