Pasta with brown butter, Parmesan and crispy sage leaves

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250g pasta
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g sage, fresh
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

very quick, very easy, very tasty

Cook the pasta al dente in salted water according to the package instructions. In the meantime, rinse the sage, pat it dry thoroughly, and pluck the leaves from the stems. Finely grate the Parmesan cheese. Drain the pasta and let it drain well. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan and cook over medium heat until lightly browned. Sprinkle the sage leaves into the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crispy. Add the pasta to the pan and stir until completely coated with the sage butter. Serve on plates, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and garnish with a few crispy sage leaves.
