Pasta with egg sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 2 tbsp flour, approx.
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Maggi
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 5 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 500 g pasta (e.g. fusilli)
  • salt water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt the margarine in a saucepan and whisk in the flour. Add water (approx. 200 ml) and stir continuously until a creamy consistency is reached. Stir in the tomato paste, season with Maggi, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and lemon juice. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Finally, slice the hard-boiled eggs into the sauce with a knife. Serve with the pasta (cooked in the meantime).
