Millet with carrots and Parmesan

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup millet
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cups water
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder (rose hot)
  • curry
  • Garlic
  • Broth, clear (instant)
  • some Parmesan, grated
  • 1 shot of sparkling wine or white wine
  • 1 dash of cream
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat (important!), chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel and finely grate the carrots, peel and chop the onions, and fry them together in olive oil. Add a cup of millet and fry briefly. Deglaze with 2 cups of water and simmer briefly. Season with salt, pepper, paprika (hot), curry, garlic, and a little clear broth. When the millet is cooked, add sparkling wine or white wine and generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Add a splash of cream, let it simmer briefly, and serve sprinkled with parsley. The parsley is somewhat important.
