Pasta with paprika cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp Gouda, grated
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • oregano
  • some oil
  • n. B. herbs
  • e.g. Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

vegetarian

Cook the pasta as usual. Dice the bell peppers, onions, and garlic and sauté in a little oil in a pan. Add tomato paste and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Bring to a boil briefly. Reduce the heat. Add the cream cheese and Gouda and stir to melt. Then add the cream and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Transfer the pasta to a plate and pour the cream sauce over it. Garnish with some fresh herbs and serve with some Parmesan or the remaining grated Gouda.
