Pasta with smoked salmon, tomato and cream cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g tagliatelle, e.g. made from spelt or wholemeal
  • 8 cocktail tomatoes
  • 5 olives, green or black
  • 50 g smoked salmon
  • ½ m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese (natural cream cheese), low-fat
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 1 handful of fresh basil or 2 tsp dried

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Cook the pasta al dente in salted water. Meanwhile, dice the onion, tomatoes, and olives, and tear the salmon into small pieces. Heat a little olive oil in a pan, fry the onions until translucent, then add the tomatoes, olives, and salmon. Fry everything for 1-2 minutes over medium heat, then add the cream cheese and stir to combine. Season with salt, cayenne pepper, and basil, then turn off the heat. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the remaining ingredients. Briefly toss everything together, serve on a plate, and drizzle with a few more drops of olive oil.
