Pasta with tomato, corn and cheese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g pasta
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed, approx. 500 g
  • some tomato paste if needed
  • 1 can of corn, approx. 330 g
  • 1 pack of grated cheese, approx. 200 g
  • e.g. oregano
  • e.g. basil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions until tender. Meanwhile, heat the passata in another pot, adding a little more tomato paste if desired. Add the corn and cheese, and melt the cheese (it’s best not to use the whole package here—use about 70% of it, as it’s more like a cheese sauce from there). Season with pepper, salt, basil, and oregano, or to taste. Add the pasta and serve.
