Pasta with zucchini and mushroom sauce and turkey

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1.2 kg penne
  • 1.6 kg turkey strips
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 3 cups of crème fraîche
  • 4 tsp vanilla flavor
  • 1 lime(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml water
  • some broth
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Chop the mushrooms and zucchini. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat. Add the vanilla extract and the lime juice. Once the meat is cooked through, remove from the heat and keep warm. In the meantime, heat a second pan with oil. Add the zucchini, season with salt and pepper, and fry until golden. Then add the mushrooms and fry. Once both are cooked, transfer to a large bowl. Add the water and a sufficient amount of stock powder to the pan, add the crème fraîche, and stir continuously until the sauce is creamy. Then add it to the bowl with the vegetables. Heat the meat briefly in the stock again, then add it to the bowl with the sauce and vegetables. In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and serve separately from the vegetables and meat.
