Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g peas, shelled
  • 2 tbsp lard
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • n. B. Flour
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Nutmeg
  • n. B. Onion(s), in rings and fried

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Soak the peas overnight, cook in the soaking water, and mash them. Prepare a light roux and mix in, seasoning as desired. Serve with onion rings. Pea puree goes well with meat platters.
