Pea soup from the pressure cooker

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of green peas, unpeeled
  • ½ pack of peas, peeled green
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables (celery, leek, carrots, parsley)
  • 750 g pork belly
  • 6 Mettwurst
  • Bacon rind, optional
  • 750 g potatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cube of meat broth
  • 50 g bacon, fattier

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Add the peas, the pork belly, 1 quartered onion, the finely chopped mettwurst, the cleaned and finely chopped soup vegetables, and possibly a bacon rind to a pot of water, season with salt, a little pepper, and the stock cube. Cook everything in a pressure cooker (according to the pot’s instructions). Meanwhile, dice the potatoes and cook until tender. When the stew is cooked, remove the meat, cut into bite-sized pieces, and return it to the pan. Add the cooked potatoes and season to taste. In a pan, fry the bacon cubes and fry a finely diced onion until light brown. Add everything to the stew.
