Peanut smoked tofu

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g smoked tofu
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 100 g peanuts
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 5 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the tofu. Finely chop the garlic and ginger and place them in a blender with the peanuts, soy sauce, lemon juice, and water. Blend until you have a smooth sauce with a honey consistency. Toss the tofu cubes in the sauce to ensure they are evenly coated. Then spread the tofu cubes on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes.
