Pear and onion tartlets

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of frozen puff pastry (45 g each)
  • 2 small pears (Anjou)
  • 1 m.-large onion(s), white
  • 50 g crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Peel the onion and slice it thinly. Peel the pears, quarter them, and slice them as well. Sauté the onions in butter, add the pears, and fry for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Place the puff pastry sheets on a baking sheet (or a wire rack lined with baking paper), spread with the onion and pear mixture, and bake for about 15 minutes.
