Pear cakes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 3 bulb(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cream the room-temperature butter with the eggs, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Sift in the flour and baking powder and fold in. Add the appropriate amount of milk, depending on the firmness of the batter. Peel and quarter the pears (you can easily cut the stem into 4 pieces with a sharp knife). Place paper baking cups in a muffin tin and add a teaspoon of batter to each. Place a pear quarter on top of the batter. Divide the remaining batter among the baking cups and bake the tarts for about 30 minutes. Enjoy fresh. This also works wonderfully with apples.
