Pear toast with Parmesan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 1 pear(s), fully ripe
  • 4 slices of Parma ham (more depending on the size of the slices)
  • 50 g Parmesan, fresh
  • pepper
  • possibly butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 200°C (fan oven). Lightly toast the bread and butter to taste. Spread the Parma ham on the slices of toast. Wash the pear, quarter it, and remove the core. Cut the pear into thin wedges and arrange them on the slices of toast. Season with pepper (preferably freshly ground). Thinly slice the Parmesan cheese and spread it over the slices of toast. Bake at 200°C (fan oven) for about 4 minutes, until the Parmesan melts. Then, depending on your taste and the desired browning of the cheese, place it under the broiler for about 1 more minute.
