Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g smoked bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 pepper, red
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, peeled
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 tbsp broth
  • 400 g pasta (penne)
  • Parmesan
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely dice the bacon and fry in a pan without fat until crispy. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Deseed the peppers and cut into thin strips. Cook the pasta until al dente. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion, garlic, and peppers. Drain the tomatoes, add them, and season everything with salt and pepper. Pour in the broth and let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and a pinch of sugar. Mix the pasta with the sauce and bacon and serve immediately.
