Peppermint sorbet for Ninja Creami

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 400 ml water
  • 200 ml peppermint syrup, green, e.g. from Monin
  • Chocolate shavings, dark
  • e.g. mint, fresh, for decoration
  • n. B. Chocolate-mint tablets for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes

Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved. Add the syrup and stir vigorously once more. Once the mixture has cooled, freeze it for at least 24 hours. After at least 24 hours, you can make sorbet. To do this, insert it into the Creami as usual and press “sorbet” once. Make a hole in the center and add the chocolate shavings, then press “extras” once. The sorbet should be placed on chilled plates and can then be decorated with fresh mint, mint leaves, or whatever you like.
