Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 bell peppers, mixed or one color
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely sliced
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat, or coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp capers
  • Sea salt, coarse
  • 1 tbsp black pepper, crushed
  • 1 dashes lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes

as a starter and as tapas

Wash, deseed, and roughly chop the peppers. Heat olive oil in a sufficiently large pan and sauté the peppers for about 5 minutes. Then add the garlic slices, chopped herbs, and capers and sauté for a few minutes. Finally, season with coarse sea salt, ground pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired. Serve warm on a platter, drizzle with more high-quality olive oil if desired.
