Peppers – Bananas – Vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bell peppers, red and green
  • 2 onions
  • 150 g bacon, streaky and smoked
  • 1 tbsp oil (pure sunflower oil)
  • ⅛ ml water
  • ½ cube of meat broth
  • 3 bananas
  • possibly pepper or paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bananas as vegetables – unbelievable, but a real treat

Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds and white inner membranes, and cut into strips. Peel the onion and cut into eighths. Dice the bacon into small cubes. Heat the oil in a pan and fry everything. Add water and bring to a boil. Dissolve half a cube of clear beef broth in the pan and simmer for about 15 minutes. Peel the bananas, slice them, add them, and heat through. Season with pepper or paprika, if desired.
